The technological superiority of the US in warfare has not been justified, even an army like the "already devastated and none-existent" Iranian air force could fight off the challenge.
I agree with you, the US, and the world got out worse out of this 3-month conflict than it was before.
Maybe one positive learning to the world: diversifying a.) from Middle East oil routes and sources, b.) moving away from fossils as soon as we can.
All in all, it is very surprising how little thought seems to have gone into the U.S. administration’s approach from a strategic perspective. In particular, the loss of soft power since the beginning of the Trump presidency does not seem to play any role at all in their considerations.
